A PROPELLER BLADE MANUFACTURING BY HYBRID ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM

Hybrid Additive Manufacturing (Hybrid-AM) describes multi-operational or multi-functional additive manufacturing systems. In industry, the increasing tendency in applications of Hybrid-AM brings up challenge improving novel methods for new hybrid parts. AM can produce fully functional assemblies without any assembly operation. this study, system means that an object is to be designed partly made from prefabricated off-the-shelf parts and added by WAAM process. For purpose, a prototype using pulsed TIG-Wire-Arc technique was constructed. The constructed SMD has three drivers on x, y, z-axes additional rotary driver (fourth axis). Using machine wire form material deposited existing primitive profile i.e., rod, pipe, profile, 3D surfaces with reducing production time. way, spiral-shaped features twisted blade shapes cylindrical stainless- steel propeller pipe developed machine. A non-planar toolpath used deposition subsequent layers surface finished 4-axis CNC machining.
